Denza Front Windshield Wraparound Ambient Light
A premium LIN-integrated ambient lighting retrofit that extends Denza's factory ambient-light system across the front of the cockpit.
A continuous silicone optical light guide creates a smooth, seamless line of illumination across the cockpit, with no visible individual LED points or hotspots.
The supplied plug-and-play LIN control module reads the vehicle's factory lighting signal in real time, allowing the wraparound ambient light to genuinely follow the original Denza ambient-light system — including selected colour, brightness and dynamic lighting effects.
No cutting, splicing, soldering or coding required.
Features
- Factory LIN integration — reads the vehicle's original ambient-lighting signal for native-style synchronisation
- Silicone optical light guide — distributes and diffuses the light into a smooth, continuous glow with no visible individual LED points or hotspots
- Smooth real-time synchronisation — follows factory-selected colour, brightness and lighting effects with smooth, fluid transitions
- Supports Denza dynamic ambient-light modes — breathing, flowing and colour-changing effects remain synchronised with the vehicle's original lighting
- Welcome animation — illumination begins near the centre and flows smoothly outward toward both sides
- Balanced OEM-style brightness — complements the factory cabin lighting rather than overpowering it
- Driver-friendly placement — positioned low along the dashboard edge to minimise distracting reflections in the windscreen
- Hidden installation — the optical light guide sits discreetly within the dashboard/windshield edge, leaving only the continuous illumination visible
- Plug-and-play electronic retrofit — supplied LIN control module and extension cable connect to the factory system without modifying vehicle wiring
- No A-pillar removal required — only the passenger-side lower footwell trim panel needs removal
How It Works
The supplied LIN control module connects between the vehicle's factory footwell-light connection and the original footwell lamp.
The module has two outputs:
- one reconnects and retains the original factory footwell light
- the second connects through the supplied extension cable to the new wraparound ambient light
Rather than simply supplying power, the module reads the vehicle's LIN ambient-lighting signal. This allows the new ambient light to synchronise in real time with Denza's factory-selected colour, brightness and dynamic lighting modes.
The silicone optical light guide then distributes the illumination evenly across the front of the cockpit, producing a continuous light line without visible individual LED points.
Compatibility
| Vehicle | Compatibility |
|---|---|
| Denza B5 | Yes — dedicated version |
| Denza B8 | Yes — dedicated version |
B5 and B8 use their respective vehicle-specific versions. Additional Denza models may be supported in the future following fitment testing.
Installation
Approximate installation time: 20–30 minutes
Installation is performed from the passenger side. Only the passenger-side lower footwell trim panel needs to be removed. The A-pillar does not need to be removed.
Installation overview
- Remove the screw securing the passenger-side lower footwell trim panel containing the factory footwell light.
- Carefully release the trim panel using the supplied trim-removal tool.
- Connect the LIN control module to the factory footwell-light connection, reconnect the original footwell light, then connect the extension cable and wraparound ambient light.
- Test colour, brightness and dynamic-mode synchronisation before routing.
- Tuck the optical light guide neatly into position along the dashboard/windshield edge.
- Route the cable through the existing gap between the dashboard and A-pillar trim — no A-pillar removal required.
- Continue routing the cable downward into the passenger footwell area below the glovebox.
- Tuck the module and excess cable away neatly, then reinstall the trim panel and screw.
