Apps and Vehicle Integration
Both the B5 and B8 passenger screens support wake/sleep with the vehicle. Follow the applicable kit-specific setup instructions. Behaviour can vary with the vehicle and supplied hardware/software configuration.
Available apps and other integration functions depend on the supplied configuration and any stated prerequisites. Confirm any function essential to your purchase with BAOLAB before ordering. A prototype or another vehicle's demonstration does not establish that every demonstrated function is included on your configuration.
Precision Fit
The screen housing is 3D scanned and injection moulded to match the original dashboard trim piece exactly. This is not a generic aftermarket bracket - it's a precision-engineered replacement that fits flush with the existing interior panels.
ADR Compliance
This screen is engineered for Australian vehicle requirements and internally tested against applicable requirements of ADR 42/05 — General Safety Requirements, including passenger-display visibility, secure installation and occupant safety.
Each production unit comes with a pre-applied matte directional privacy film, designed to limit visibility of the passenger display from the driver’s normal seating position.
The screen housing occupies the same dashboard envelope as the original factory trim piece, introducing no additional obstruction to the driver's forward field of view.

Production and Delivery Process
Once we receive your order, it will be submitted to our manufacturing partner for production. The estimated production time is approximately 15-20 business days.
After production is complete, allow approximately 6–9 business days for inbound freight and dispatch coordination, including arranging shipment and air freight from the manufacturer to BAOLAB.
After arrival at BAOLAB, a separate 3–5 business days is required for quality inspection. This does not overlap with air freight. Our team will inspect the finish, components and key functions of each unit to confirm that it is operating correctly before dispatch. Your display will then be dispatched from Melbourne and delivered to you through Australia Post, which usually takes approximately 3–7 business days after dispatch, depending on your location.
The total estimated lead time is approximately 27–41 business days from the date of your order. Please note that this is an estimate, and occasional manufacturing, customs or freight delays may occur. We will keep you informed if there is any significant change to the expected delivery schedule.
Your Australia Post tracking will be emailed when BAOLAB dispatches your screen to you. Tracking is not provided for the inbound shipment from China to BAOLAB.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will this affect my vehicle warranty?
A: BAOLAB's physical-product warranty and refund rights remain as set out in our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy. We cannot guarantee how a vehicle manufacturer or dealer will assess a particular installation. Confirm their requirements if this is important to you. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Q: Can the driver see the screen while driving?
A: Safety first! The Denza B5 Passenger Screen comes with a special anti-glare privacy film. This film is engineered for ADR compliance and significantly limits the viewing angle. While your passenger enjoys their display, it will be barely visible from the driver's seat, ensuring you stay focused on the road.
Q: Can I install YouTube and Netflix?
A: App availability, accounts, subscriptions and playback requirements vary. Confirm the apps essential to you against the supplied software configuration before ordering; a demonstration does not guarantee every app or function at delivery.
Q: Does it play sound?
A: The screen itself doesn't have built-in speakers. This is by design to prevent distraction for the driver. You can easily connect Bluetooth headphones for private listening. This allows your passenger to enjoy their entertainment without interrupting your drive or conversation.
Q: What if I want to remove it?
A: Ask your installer to assess removal and reinstatement for the actual vehicle and kit. Do not assume every installation can be removed without a trace.
Q: Does it turn on/off with the car?
A: Both B5 and B8 screens support wake/sleep with the vehicle. Follow the applicable kit-specific setup instructions. Behaviour depends on the vehicle and supplied configuration. This describes feature support, not a claim of completed endurance testing.
Q: Can I install it myself, or do I need a professional?
A: Arrange professional installation with a suitably qualified workshop. Our public overview helps you plan the work, but is not a step-by-step fitting or wiring manual. Confirm the vehicle and kit-specific instructions with BAOLAB before booking; the workshop should confirm the scope and installation time. Electrical installation must not proceed while the required connection instructions are unavailable or unclear.
